Canadian pop sensation NJ Taylor has been playing music and singing since she was a child. Her first choice of instrument was the violin, she later began singing and writing her own songs as a teenager.
“I want to inspire. Yes, I aspire to inspire,” says NJ. “I want to make people feel something, make them reflect. I would be so lucky to have my music become the background music to the soundtrack of their lives. I want to be a positive influence.”

NJ has already started sharing her gift of music with the masses, and is well on her way to becoming that positive influence she wants to be. Her 2013 single I Don’t Care not only received airplay in Canada, but was also featured in the TV show Sex & Ethnicity. Her most recent single So You even reached the semi-finals of the Unsigned Only Music Competition in the pop/Top 40 category, and the 2014 UK Songwriting Contest in the Adult Contemporary category. It was also nominated in both the Pop and Americana/Folk/Acoustic categories for Hollywood Music in Media.
NJ’s infectious, energetic dance tracks are fun, fresh, and addicting, so watch out for this soon to be pop queen.
NJ’s new single So You is out October 30th, and her new self-titled EP will be out early 2016.
