LA’s NØVE is helping to define the clouded genre of “alt/R&B” with his new singles “Taboo” and “Trigger” – released earlier this year. The Venice Beach native uses his dark past and the help of producer Johnny What (one third of LA-based electro pop group BRAVES) to create powerful, ominous music. NØVE has been compared to artists like The Weeknd, The Neighbourhood, and SOHN – yet owns his own vibes and has seemingly created something truly unique.
“With my background being more focused in alternative music, I didn’t expect to be writing electronic and R&B songs with such ease and fluidity,” the young songwriter explains. NØVE will release his debut EP Dark Paradise this spring – be sure to keep up with him and all his new content on Facebook, Twitter, and Soundcloud.
