Oh Land to release new album ‘Wish Bone’ (UK)
1 min readDanish alterna-pop chanteuse Oh Land, a.k.a. Nanna Øland Fabricius, is gearing up for the release of her highly-anticipated second album Wish Bone. Due out early October, the album will be released via Federal Prism, the new label launched by TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek .
Featuring her distinctive brand of left-field pop, Wish Bone includes collaborations with Sia and Dave Sitek. Earlier this month SPIN in the US exclusively streamed a taster track from the new album, titled My Boxer asserting it “a slinky banger, which bobs and weaves with jabbing percussion, glitch electronics and a dangerously hummable melody.”
Wish Bone is the long-awaited follow up to Oh Land’s 2011 self-titled album that garnered overwhelming critical acclaim. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for an announcement about Oh Land’s forthcoming single Renaissance Girls.
