News: The Naked and Famous Announce More Tour Dates

(U.S) NZ/LA quintet The Naked and Famous will follow their upcoming 2014 arena tour with Imagine Dragons with a run of spring headlining dates, including festival performances at Coachella and Governor’s Ball. The band recently returned home for a set of performances at New Zealand/Australia’s Big Day Out Festival after a 2013 North American fall tour with multiple sold-out runs in New York and DC behind sophomore album, In Rolling Waves. The album features first single, “Hearts Like Ours,” which they debuted on THE LATE LATE SHOW with CRAIG FERGUSON, as well as new single ‘I Kill Giants,’ whose accompanying video was directed by Joel Kefali, longtime creator of the band’s videos and most recently, Lorde’s.
In Rolling Waves was recorded in Los Angeles with tracks co-produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen (M83, Beck, NIN), and mixed in London by Alan Moulder (Smashing Pumpkins, Killers, Foals). Available now on Republic, it follows the band’s debut album, Passive Me, Aggressive You, featuring the US Gold hit single ‘Young Blood,’ which reached global sales of over 500,000 and took the band’s YouTube and Vevo views beyond 25 million.
