(AUS) After the internet blew up last month with fears of The 1975 breaking up after their disappearance from social media, the band shocked fans and debuted a new-look neon pink logo and an open letter to fans revealing a ‘new chapter’ and hinting at a new album and smaller more intimate shows in 2016.
It has now been confirmed that the UK pop rockers will be back on Australian soil next January with ALL AGES shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
A note from frontman Matt Healy and The 1975:
“We have decided to start touring again this year, due to the size of the venues that we feel are appropriate for this particular tour and taking into consideration the humbling dedication that I have felt from a lot of our fans I predict that only the most dedicated fans will get tickets.”
