News: Milky Chance Announce 2015 Summer Tour Dates

(US) Expanding on their already stacked North American tour schedule, Milky Chance have added a string of summer dates in the US. These dates add to the first leg of their tour, whose 39 dates sold out immediately, along with confirmed festival appearances at Coachella, Sasquatch, Osheaga, Outside Lands, and Squamish Valley Music Festival. Pre-sale tickets for their new summer tour dates go on sale at 10:00AM local time on Tuesday, March 31st, with public on sales to follow on Friday, April 3rd. Tickets are available HERE!

The platinum-certified German indie pop sensation will kick off its summer dates at SummerStage in New York City’s Central Park on July 22, with stops to follow at legendary venues such as the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, IL (July 24) and the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, CA (August 4) with support from X Ambassadors. In addition, Milky Chance will join forces with Walk The Moon to play the idyllic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, CO, on August 6 and Marymoor Park Concerts in Seattle, WA, on August 10.

As their U.S. tour heats up, Milky Chance will perform “Flashed Junk Mind” from their on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on April 1. Be sure to tune in!

Longtime friends Clemens Rehbein and Philipp Dausch came together during high school in Kassel, Germany and founded Milky Chance shortly after. Initially, they released Sadnecessary independently in Europe through their own label Lichtdicht Records and saw major success, hitting #1 in France and going Top 10 in 9 countries, while “Stolen Dance” took off online. As soon as it was released, Sadnecessary climbed to #4 on iTunes Overall Top Albums chart and #1 on the Alternative Albums chart. Their smash gold-certified “Stolen Dance” continues to make major waves at radio, sitting at #1 at Triple A for 9 consecutive weeks and #1 at Alternative for 6 weeks. Meanwhile the official music video for “Stolen Dance” has over 130 million views and climbing.
