News: Jonathan Antoine Announces A Special London Pop-up Event

(UK) Jonathan Antoine, the 19 year old tenor who burst onto the scene in 2001 and became a worldwide sensation after his remarkable appearance on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, has announced, that as the culmination of his recent UK Balcony Roadshow, he will appear in a very special pop up performance. On Monday 13th October at 1pm on a balcony overlooking the famous Covent Garden Piazza (opposite St Paul’s Church), Antoine will celebrate both the launch of his debut solo album ‘Tenore’ on Sony Classical and pay tribute to the late, great Luciano Pavarotti, whose birthday it would have been on 12th October.
In addition, Jonathan will join leading classical artists of the day in a series of special appearances in Autumn concerts in association with Raymond Gubbay. These dates include:
- Last Night of the Autumn Proms – Manchester on 18th October 2014 at Bridgewater Hall
- Last Night of the Autumn Proms – Southend on 30th November 2014 at the Cliffs Pavilion
- Jonathan will also appear as a special guest from 20-23 November 2014 at the famous Raymond Gubbay Classical Spectacular concerts at the Royal Albert Hall
