News: Jack White Confirms Headline Tour

1 min read

(U.S) Jack White has announced his first headline dates in support of his new album Lazaretto, out June 10th on Third Man Records/Columbia. The shows will be Jack’s first since his ambitious 2012 world tour supporting the gold-certified, multiple-GRAMMY-nominated, international #1 Blunderbuss.

Prior to the worldwide headline trek, Jack will commemorate Record Store Day (April 19th), by recording, pressing and releasing the World’s Fastest Released Record: a live version of the upcoming Lazaretto‘s title track recorded direct-to-acetate that morning in the blue room of Jack’s Third Man Records in Nashville. The masters will be rushed over to United Record Pressing who will immediately begin pressing 45s to be slipped into sleeves and then whisked back to Third Man to be sold.

Jack will officially kick off the world tour on May 29th at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, OK and continue with stops throughout North America, Europe, and the United Kingdom including two-night-stands in Jack’s native Detroit, Chicago, and Paris, as well as the previously announced summer festival headline appearances. The current run of shows wraps up in Canada, with an arena date at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre and a headline slot at the Osheaga Music & Arts Festival in Montreal.

Kelley Stoltz will open Jack’s headline dates from May 29th through June 5th. Benjamin Booker will support July 20th-31st.
