News: Foy Vance announces special ‘An Evening With’ solo tour
2 min readIrish troubadour Foy Vance has today announced a very special solo headline tour for October & November 2017. ‘An Evening With Foy Vance’ will see the acclaimed Northern Irish singer-songwriter performing solo on guitar and piano in some of the UK’s most beautiful venues, including London’s Union Chapel, Manchester’s Royal Northern College Of Music Hall, and Glasgow Saint Luke’s. Tickets go on sale this Friday May 12th at 10am, with a pre-sale to fans from 10am Wednesday May 10th.

Next week Vance and his touring band will embark on the final dates of The Wild Swan World Tour, with ten UK gigs running from May 15 – 26th. This is the second UK leg of The Wild Swan World Tour, with all dates on the first leg last selling out back in November, including two nights at Shepherds Bush Empire.
Vance’s latest album ‘The Wild Swan’ is available now on Ed Sheeran’s label Gingerbread Man Records, and contains the Radio playlisted singles ‘Coco’, ‘Upbeat Feelgood’, and ‘Noam Chomsky Is A Soft Revolution’. The Wild Swan was nominated for the 2016 Northern Ireland Music Prize, the second time Vance has been nominated for the award, which he won with his previous album Joy Of Nothing in 2013.
