(AUS) 2015 has been Courtney Barnett’s year. Her whip-smart debut LP Sometimes I Sit and Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit, debuted at number #10 on the US Billboard album sales charts and #4 on the ARIA charts at home in Australia.

To celebrate a monumental year, today Courtney has announced a headline tour playing Perth at the Astor Theatre on Thursday 7 January, Sydney at The Enmore Theatre on Saturday 16 January and Melbourne on Friday 22 January at The Palais Theatre. Tickets for all shows go on sale to the public from 9am Tuesday 11th August.  Joining Courtney on her Australian Theatre tour will be the amazing Cloud Control.

Along with her headline shows, Courtney Barnett will be playing the Falls Music and Arts Festival over New Years in Lorne, Marion Bay and Byron as well as Southbound 2016. The past few months have seen Courtney perform her album to sold out shows across America and Europe. On top of that she has been announced as the support for Blur in Los Angeles and New York’s Madison Square Garden.
