The latest in Swiss musical offerings, the singer introduces the UK to her growling and grunge inspired songwriting talents in a song full of powerful musical expression.
Your Personal Religion is the first UK released single for the European songstress. Built on a basic drum and guitar template the single is soaked in rebellion as her moody tones eb and flow throughout the track.
Lyrically the song is captivating throughout and Hunger wails furiously ‘it’s never gonna die’ to close the song in a tone very familiar to the distinctive, grainy vocals of Florence Welch.
Your Personal Religion sees Hunger reaching new heights in her craft as a talented and genuinely able singer/songwriter and with the recent release of the singles parent record, 1983 (an ode to Hunger’s birth year), this is one songbird that we will be hearing a lot more of over the coming gloom filled months.
