Röyksopp and Robyn bring you Do It Again – this is a naughty threesome!
Welcome back Röyksopp, and an even greater welcome to this little collaboration coming our way in 2014! I Want You is a teaser for the upcoming EP and Do It Again tour with the Norwegian electro duo and Swedish Robyn. Röyksopp know how to place a beat and Robyn is certainly no stranger so its not surprising that I Want You is just lovely.
This is an EDM classic, poppy sound with some nice beat undertones it’s a hand in the air, eyes closed experience. The build up Robyn promises through her lyrics doesn’t disappoint. Although the lyrics may be repetitive the tunes are progressive, minute two is just delicious!
The visuals for I Want You will also take your eyes on a journey. Reminiscent of the trippy Australian duo The Presets My People film clip, it is a kaleidoscope of images with the lyrics overlayed. Great clip, it drives home just how and when you should enjoy this track.
I’m excited, this is a great little edition from these artists and it has all the signs of an awesome partnership.
