News: The Preatures Announce National ‘Blue Planet Eyes’ Album Tour

(AUS) 2014 has been a massive year for The Preatures, yet they’ve kept the best till last. Hot on the heels of the release of their debut album BLUE PLANET EYES – out September 26th – the band will embark on their biggest national tour to date.
The BLUE PLANET EYES Australian album tour will see the band perform songs from the album including recent singles, ‘Somebody’s Talking’, ‘Two Tone Melody’, ‘Better Than It Ever Could Be’, and of course, their indie smash ‘Is This How You Feel?’
The Preatures hit the ground running in 2013 with the release of “Is This How You Feel?” and were quickly snapped up by record labels around the world including Harvest US, Virgin UK, Barclay in France and Universal in Germany. They cut their teeth on the international festival circuit this year, with outstanding performances at SXSW, Coachella, Glastonbury, Bonnaroo, Germany’s Hurricane and Southside Festivals and of course, a jaw dropping performance at our very own Splendour In The Grass.
Immediately after the release of Blue Planet Eyes, next week, the band will head back to the US in October to promote the album with a headline tour and performances at the famed Austin City Limits and Life Is Beautiful festival in Las Vegas. Upon their return, they will add supporting none other than the The Rolling Stones to their impressive touring resume, with shows at Hanging Rock (VIC) at Hope Estate (NSW).
Special guests Holy Holy will join The Preatures on the BLUE PLANET EYES tour as main support, and a selection of Australia’s brightest emerging talent will open each show. With their Australian shows selling out well in advance earlier in the year, fans will need to book early to avoid disappointment.
