News: Special Edition Pretenders Box Set To Be Released

(UK) On February 16 all eight Pretenders albums issued under the Warner label banner from 1979 to 1999 will be available to purchase in one all-encompassing special edition box set. The eight albums will also be available to buy separately.
The Pretenders were one of the seminal bands of the second British Invasion, bursting out of London in 1979 with their debut single ‘Stop Your Sobbing’. Fusing punk and New Wave and fronted by the legendary Chrissie Hynde, the band released a plethora of huge hits throughout their illustrious career including ‘Brass In Pocket’, ‘I’ll Stand By You’, ‘Back On The Chain Gang’, ‘2000 Miles’ and ‘Don’t Get Me Wrong’, all of which are featured within the special edition box set.
All eight albums plus the box set are available for pre-order now (the first 500 fans ordering via the official store will have the chance to claim a free personalised ‘Brass in Pocket’ lyric poster).
