Fresh faced urban singer Mohombi is on the verge of lighting up the radiowaves on November 1st with his debut single, Miss Me.

MohombiMissMeWith a half Swedish, half African heritage, his roots are worldly and his upbringing of urban flavors mixed with the right dose of mainstream blends together well to create one of the years hottest tunes.

The grinding base that pulsates throughout Miss Me creates an addictive surge within the RnB debut making it a memorable hit for the 23 year old singer who was picked up by Swedish producer, RedOne, famous for working with the likes of Usher and Lady GaGa as well as being the first artist signed to the super producers own label.

Having a helping hand on the track, Mohombi has enlisted the Grammy Award winning hip hop powers of US superstar Nelly which can only do wonders for a newbies career so early on. The inclusion of the hip hip star adds a familiarity to the release and opens the door of possibilities and opportunities for the singer. Mohombi is vocally strong and doesn’t sound phased as he sways around the quick rhymings of Nelly. The track belongs to Mohombi and this shines through on Miss Me.

The singer has a sound that oozes worldwide appeal and with the parent albums release penciled in for early 2011 and including guest spots filled by Nelly and Pussycat Doll, Nicole Sherzinger, this is one soul boy destined for big things over the next few months.
