Single Review: Mindless Behavior – ‘Mrs Right’

2 min read

US newcomers Mindless Behavior are quickly picking up pace in a career that has already seen the teenage popsters releasing three singles in their native America and a debut album which is set for release in the UK later this year.

MindlessBehaviorMrsRightThe teen stars that make up the four piece (Roc Royal, Ray Ray, Princeton and Prodigy) have made a promising start to 2012 with the release of the groups UK debut in the form of the single Mrs Right which sees its release on Monday 20th February.

Having toured with the likes of Justin Bieber, Backstreet Boys and Jason Derulo, as well as being the sole support act for Janet Jackson’s 2011 tour, Mindless Behavior are about to be unleashed on the UK.

Brand new single Mrs Right is an energetic number for the foursome which sits comfortably within the mainstream pop/Hip Hop movement. Driven by an almost vibrating synth and bass line the track is filled with hooks as the foursome seek out their Mrs Right from all four corners of the globe.

The teens also enlist UK rapper Chipmunk for the UK release of the single to provide a slick rap filling to the number adding an appealing, homegrown bonus for British audiences.

Just like the singles artwork it is all about the bling and this track really does do just that. It’s a sparkly number with all sorts of electronica and effects happening around each of the group members spotlight moments while a catchy melody is maintained throughout the song making the track a memorable release for Mindless Behavior.
