Ellie Goulding announces arena dates for March 2014 (UK)

Ellie Goulding has today announced she will play an arena tour in the UK in March 2014. The dates have been added due to phenomenal demand, and follow her sold out UK tour in October. General tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday.

The Hereford-born singer-songwriter is enjoying a hugely successful year after scoring her first UK number one single Burn. This week sees the release of Halcyon Days which is a re-packaged version of Ellie’s second album Halcyon. It comes with a bumper load of new tracks, featuring collaborations with Calvin Harris, DJ Fresh, Madeon and BURNS.
The track Ellie has done with BURNS is a kind of cover of a cover. Ellie heard Boards of Canada’s version of Midas Touch by Midnight Star, and decided she’d love to do her own version of the track. She heard BURNS’ record store day release, loved it and thought that Midas Touch could be the perfect track to collaborate on.
