Caroline Kick Off March Is Metal Month (US)
Caroline has just kicked off their annual celebration of metal music with March is Metal Month -now in its fifth year, Caroline has pulled together yet another exciting retail campaign to rejoice the genre of Metal.
Launching nationally in both physical and digital music stores on March 1st , the campaign – a collaboration between retailers, record companies and digital partners – sets to surpass prior drives with a slew of interactive activities, competitions and money-can’t-buy prizes .
This year’s March Is Metal Month introduces a Youtube Air Guitar Contest, Soundtracking.com’s “Show Us You’re Metal” contest and offers consumers daily prizes, consisting of T-shirts, samplers, backpacks (plus much more) and the grand prize for the YouTube Air Guitar Contest is an autograph guitar signed by Five Finger Death Punch. In partnership with Universal Music Group Distribution, this year’s campaign will take on a whole new level of exposure with college reps on over 50 college campuses nationwide spreading the gospel with download cards, calendars, backpacks, and samplers.
