Icona Pop to support Katy Perry at iTunes festival (UK)

Undoubtedly this year’s hottest and in demand duo, Icona Pop has announced that they will be supporting the one and only Katy Perry at this year’s iTunes Festival on September 30. The request came from the lady herself who tweeted yesterday about the announcement: “PUMPED to announce I will be closing the month-long @iTunesFestival with my friends @IGGYAZALEA & @iconapop opening!”
This Is… Icona Pop, the highly anticipated debut album from the Swedish pop sensations, is set for release on October 14, the album features the duo’s hit No. 1 single I Love It featuring Charli XCX.
The second single to be taken from the album will be Girlfriend which is set for release on September 30.
